Fell and Furrow is a small, family run business headed up by Chris and Jo. We are based just outside of Penrith and cover an area of around 30 mins drive or further for design work.
Chris | Manager | Garden Designer | Horticulturalist
Chris started out his career in Horticulture with a diploma in horticulture from Askham Bryan college, York, in 2004. He has since work in York, Leeds and now Cumbria (after a brief design project in the Alsace region of France). Chris heads up our small team and is the lead in both design, garden management and planting schemes. His vision and experience in the Lakeland gardens we look after has proved invaluable in creating the spaces our clients crave in their outdoor spaces.

Jo | Gardener
Jo has been working alongside Chris for a number of years alongside her roles in the Arts sector. Now dedicated solely to Fell and Furrow, Jo leads the financial and administration side of the business and focuses on the maintenance side of things while supporting project work seasonally. She has a keen eye for detail in the garden and continues to expand her knowledge while making sure the cogs behind the scenes keep turning.
