Fell and Furrow was founded from a passion for horticulture, a love of the outdoors, and a belief that well-designed gardens should enrich the landscapes they belong to.

With more than 20 years’ experience designing, creating and caring for gardens across Cumbria, we combine horticultural expertise with a deep understanding of the local landscape. After moving from Yorkshire in 2014 to live and work among the fells, we found endless inspiration in the region’s dramatic scenery. The natural elements of rock, water and planting continue to influence the gardens we create.

Our approach is to design beautiful, enduring gardens that feel at home in their surroundings. By balancing thoughtful planting with carefully considered design, we create outdoor spaces that are both distinctive and harmonious with the wider landscape.
